6 fabric execs join ITMA board

HIGH POINT — Six industry executives have joined the 13-member board of the International Textile Market Assn., producers of the semiannual Showtime fabric shows here.
The four new directors on the board are Ismail Arslan, DeLeo Textiles; Wesley Mancini, Wesley Mancini; Art Reilly, Van Lathem; and Robin Starnes, Covington New York. In addition, Regenia Payne of Taylor King Furniture and Jim Calhoun of Miles Talbott/Michael Thomas Furniture, have joined the board as industry liaisons.
Steve Shelly of Classical Elements remains board president for another year. Other returning board members are Bob Patton, P/Kaufmann, vice president; Jessie Rector, theleathercollection; Roger Burnim, Heritage House Fabrics; Sunil Eamani, MDS Fabrics; Robert Lachow, J.B. Martin; and Anne Hood, Century Furniture, industry liaison.
“The ITMA board always consists of individuals who have a passion for our industry and our new board members are no different,” said Shelly.
In addition to organizing Showtime, the nonprofit ITMA supports educational programs for students of textile design and marketing.
