CALHOUN, Ga. — Surya will introduce a line of Dick Idol area rugs at the High Point Market, the first in a new licensing partnership with the Montana outdoorsman, artist and outdoor lifestyle personality."Our company continues to grow, and we believe our partnership with Dick Idol will help us tap into the outdoor-inspired product niche and reach a new customer who wants refined rustic styling," said Surya President Satya Tiwari.
Two new Dick Idol collections will include more than 20 styles. The product will retail at $199 for machine-made polypropylene rugs and $599 for hand-tufted New Zealand wool rugs in a 5 by 8 size.
Surya's licensing agency says the new rugs are designed to complement Idol's successful Montana Reflections furniture collection with Shadow Mountain and its longstanding lighting program with Pacific Coast Lighting.
"I am pleased to announce our new partnership with Surya as they are clearly a leader in the rug industry," said Idol. He added, "I believe that great area rugs are a key design element in any room in the home and am confident that Surya will provide our customers with great-selling refined rustic designs at a great value."
In High Point, Surya shows in Showplace, space 3233.
