High Point — Ray Isser was installed as the International Home Furnishings Representatives Assn.'s 68th president at the Presidential Gala and Awards Ceremony held during the April market here.
Isser is a member of the Tri-State Home Furnishings Assn. and has been a representative for 29 years for companies including Stratford, Chromcraft and Samuel Lawrence.
Also installed for the 2006–07 year were Rick Gillispie of the Virginia/Carolinas Home Furnishings Representatives Assn., first vice president; Jim Craven of the Tennessee Furniture Travelers, second vice president; Ed Myers of the Tri-State Home Furnishings Representatives Assn., secretary/treasurer; and Mark Craven of the Maryland/DC Home Furnishings Representatives Assn., chairman of the board.
