FurnitureDealer.net partners with Lexington Home Brands

Offering furniture retailers Web site design, hosting services

Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, October 9, 2009

HIGH POINT — FurnitureDealer.net, a provider of Web sites and Internet marketing services, has partnered with Lexington Home Brands to offer dealers Web sites that leverage Lexington's brand portfolio and diverse product line.

Through the partnership, Web site packages range from $299 per month to several thousand dollars per month, including hosting.

In addition to offering Lexington's entire product line, all packages include access to FurnitureDealer.net's other digital product catalogs, with more than 45,000 products from 200 leading manufacturers.

"The majority of furniture shoppers search online in advance of making a purchase," said Robert Stamper, senior vice president of marketing. "The search criterion usually includes a geographic keyword, making it incumbent upon the local dealer to have a Web site that is both search engine optimized and populated with rich and accurate content."

Stamper said all Web site packages include easy-to-use site navigation, the ability to narrow the search by product features and dimensions, detailed product descriptions, and lead generation tools to encourage consumers to contact the store.

At market, FurnitureDealer.net representatives will be available for demonstrations at Lexington's showroom at 1300 National Highway in Thomasville, and at the NHFA Retailer Resource Center, Plaza Suites 1-527.
