MIAMI — Rana Furniture here donated $10,000 to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital as a part of the retailer's celebration of its 10th anniversary and opening of its fifth and largest store.
The donation to the research hospital will help needy patients and support St. Jude's mission "to advance cures and means of prevention for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment," the company said in a statement.

Rana opened its fifth Miami-area store - a 15,000-square-foot showroom - earlier this summer on Northwest 167th Street in Miami Gardens, Fla. It's the first of Rana's locations to carry an expanded selection of more modern styles, according to a spokeswoman.
Over its 10-year history, the retailer has grown to five locations with 65 employees and said it expected to do more than $21 million in sales this year.
Key suppliers include Ashley, Coaster and Serta.
