HIDDENITE, N.C. — Upholstery manufacturer Paladin Industries has hired Richard Graves as vice president of sales and marketing. Graves reports to Tim Bolick, president and chief executive officer of Paladin, and replaces Bob Eller, who is now with Braxton Culler.
"Richard brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our management team, not only from a manufacturing perspective, but also from a retailer's point of view," said Bolick.
Graves has held positions with Miles Talbott, Southern Furniture and Lexington Furniture. He was also one of the founders of JCPenney Portfolio Home Furnishings, a 14-chain retail venture.
"I have known Paladin Industries and the Bolicks for a long time, and they truly make a wonderful, fashion-forward product," Graves said. "I am very proud to be associated with such a talented and skilled group of folks."
"Along with Shea Teague, vice president of operations, our team is now complete with the addition of Richard as vice president of sales and marketing," said Elaine Bolick, senior vice president. "We are excited about our future as we implement some new and fresh marketing ideas and sales programs for our customers."
