INMAN, S.C. — Mattress textile source DesleeClama USA has added Kendall Kellet and Necia Levoit to its team of designers, joining European designer An Feys.

The company also said it is adding a design studio at its U.S. headquarters in South Carolina.

Levoit previously designed graphics at Milliken for woven fabrics, prints and knits, and also was a lead designer at General Motors. She has a strong knowledge of weft and warp knit design in machine and hand knitting, according to DesleeClama.

Kellet worked at Burlington Inds. as a woven designer for bedding. For the past 14 years, she was a senior designer at Milliken, responsible for trade and trend research, color development, customer presentations and collateral materials for trade shows.

"The addition of our two new designers, is a further example of our commitment to put in place the necessary resources to support our growth in the North American mattress industry," Craig Dunlop, president of DesleeClama in North America, said in a release. "The combination of An Feys' European design experience along with our new North American designers will be a solid resource for our customers to draw from."

DesleeClama said it created its new North American-focused design team in order to capitalize on its growing North American client base.
