ANAHEIM, Calif. — Jeff Zeglin has been elected chairman of BrandSource, the furniture, electronics and appliance buying group here.
He replaces Andy Kersey, who remains on the board and is vice president of Hamlin & Kersey Home Center & Audio-Video Systems in Corbin, Ky.
An active BrandSource member since 1990, Zeglin has served in various positions on the board and has owned and managed Zeglin's Home TV & Appliances in Moline, Ill., and Davenport, Iowa, for 37 years.
In a release, the group said Zeglin's priorities involve "moving BrandSource forward as it harnesses new technologies, spearheads competitive financing programs and expands its Expert Warehouse operation to better serve members in all regions."
"I'm committed to maintaining a razor-sharp focus on doing everything we can to support our members and help them succeed," Zeglin said.
BrandSource CEO Bob Lawrence said Zeglin's appointment will help the organization continue to evolve as it seeks out and implements innovative new programs.
BrandSource has nearly 4,500 dealer members in North America and nearly 3,000 BrandSource branded stores in the United States.
