HIGH POINT — Upholstery fabric supplier Greenhouse Fabrics has hired Betsy Willis and Lauren Mungo to join Tiffany Tolliver as product development directors.
They will collaborate on the selection and merchandising of residential, contract, multipurpose and outdoor fabrics, as well as the vinyl and leather sold by the company through sample books and Web transactions.
Tolliver has worked for the company for four years in roles including research, image and Web graphics and as a customer and fabric specialist.
Willis is a 20-year furniture industry veteran with a background in showroom management and design, photography styling and fabric merchandising. She has worked with Century Furniture Ind. and Highland House as a showroom and visual merchandising manager.
Mungo previously worked for Jamestown, N.C., retailer Furnitureland South and for Marsh Cabinets.
"We are delighted to have these three outstanding professionals join us as our new product development team," said company President Brian Bunch. "We expect continued and exponential growth going forward as each of these ladies brings a particular strength that will be critical to our product design development.
"We supplied our upholsterer and interior design customers with new fabrics every month in 2012 by producing over 50 new sample books. We expect to continue this growth in 2013 with these very strong product directors again producing over 50 new books," Bunch said.
Greenhouse Fabrics is a third generation, privately held fabric jobber in High Point. The company stocks value-priced upholstery fabrics and mid-priced multipurpose fabrics to the re-upholstery, interior design, contract, manufacturing, and hospitality trades.
