Randol Smith family requests donations to scholarship fund

Jamestown, N.C. — The family of industry veteran Randol Smith, who died earlier this month after a yearlong battle with cancer, has requested that memorial donations be made to the Randol H. Smith Memorial Scholarship Fund at the Jamestown United Methodist Church.
The address is P.O. Box 339, Jamestown, N.C. 27282.
Smith, who was 56, was vice president of sales and marketing at manufacturer Kemp Enterprises. Before joining Kemp, he worked for Universal Furniture, Bernhardt and Akzo Nobel.
He is survived by his wife, Arleen, and two daughters.
