Microfibres promotes Czarnecki, names reps

By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, July 31, 2006

Mike Czarnecki has been promoted to senior vice president of sales and marketing at flocked fabric specialist Microfibres.

Czarnecki, a 22-year veteran of Microfibres, was previously vice president of sales and marketing. He will continue to manage Microfibres' three North American warehouses and product styling, and also will focus on growing the company's international business and non-upholstery fabrics line.

Microfibres also has named a North American sales force. Until earlier this year, the company had been represented by sales and marketing firm Glabman-Himes.

New reps and their territories are Frank Damiano, northeast and eastern Canada; Walt English, Midwest and western Canada; Ed Jacobs and Melvin Hill, Southeast; Michelle Lomba, West Coast; and Tony Vinson, Southwest (Mississippi, Texas, Alabama, Arkansas and western Tennessee).

The sales reps report to Bob Ellsweig, who recently joined Microfibres as vice president of sales and marketing for upholstery.
