AHFA, NHFA will co-host conference

Charleston, S.C. — The American Home Furnishings Alliance and the National Home Furnishings Assn. will co-host an all-industry conference in March 2006 to explore ideas for increasing the industry's share of consumer spending.
The joint meeting of the industry's two major trade groups is set for March 11–14 at the Disney Hilton in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., under the title "Changing Latitudes, Changing Attitudes."
AHFA and NHFA volunteers and professionals are planning the event, which will include what AHFA President Rob Sligh described as "powerful education and cross-functional networking. No doubt (the conference) will be large and valuable. We hope it will turn into an annual event co-hosted by our associations."
The conference begins with a reception and dinner and concludes with departure on Tuesday morning, March 14.
