Furniture Outlets USA promotes Bob Brant to sales director

Has managed company's Ashley stores

SIOUX FALLS. S.D. — Bob Brant, regional manager of Furniture Outlets USA's Ashley Furniture HomeStores, has been promoted to director of sales for the Top 100 company.

He succeeds Jim Heinitz, who recently was promoted to CEO.

Brant joined the company in November 2006 and initially worked with store managers to establish sales training and standardized sales practices, among other things. He also has headed Furniture Outlets' Elk River, Minn., liquidation center, which opened early this year.

"Bob has a lot of experience in the furniture business and has done a very good job for our company," said Furniture Outlets Chairman Bill Hinks. "We are ecstatic to have him as our new director of sales."
