Furniture sales rep David H. Shearin dies at 70

Funeral set for Saturday in Richmond, Va.

Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, October 28, 2009

RICHMOND, Va. — A funeral for David H. Shearin, a longtime furniture sales representative, will be held at noon Saturday in the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home here.

Shearin, who died Monday at age 70, was a furniture rep for 40 years, most recently with Elite and earlier with Caraway.

He is survived by his wife, Norma Jean Shearin, two daughters and four grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Assn. in Virginia, P.O. Box 35010, Richmond, Va. 23235.
