U.S. cuts 2007 furniture import duty rates slightly
Correction affects 18 Chinese producers

WASHINGTON — After further review, the U.S. Department of Commerce slightly decreased antidumping duty rates on wood bedroom furniture for 2007 for 18 Chinese manufacturers, the DOC announced.
It said the amendments corrected earlier errors. The rate for the affected companies was cut from 29.98% to 29.89%.
In new shipper reviews for 2007, the DOC also gave zero duties to Golden Well International (HK) Ltd., Zhangzhou XYM Furniture Product Co. Ltd. and Dongguan Sunshine Furniture Co. Ltd.
Rates for Orient International Shanghai Foreign Trade Co. and the People's Republic of China-wide entity rate remained unchanged at 216%.
Companies whose amended rate for 2007 shipments is 29.89% are:

What a bunch of CRAP. This whole anti-dumping is a joke. The money they get goes right back to American manufacturers and helps their bottom line. It was intended to help the workers lost and for companies to use the money to invest in them. Hasn't happened and not going to. Nobody including the Government doesn't even look at how the money is used nor are they required to. Almost like stimulous dollars for furniture manufacturers.

Yes, it takes government bureaucrats to determine that 29.98% is wrong and 29.89% is right. Check further and you'll find out that most of these factories stopped making bedroom furniture.
Let's go visit the Anti-American-Imperialism and War Crime Museum while we transfer that bedroom production to Vietnam.
