Here are descriptions of new products and marketing programs being introduced at the Las Vegas market. The presentation is based on information provided by the exhibitors.

"The Divextra Collection by Armen Art" line will be distributed through Armen Art's North Hollywood facilities. Five 3-piece groups bow from the Divextra collection, with sofas priced from $999 to $1,699 and a microfiber sectional at $2,499.

• Armen Art also is expanding its own Chinese upholstery line.

• Young Classics is launching nine new occasional pieces. They include a chair side table with a storage drawer and beveled glass top; the New Bedford square glass-top cocktail table with storage drawers and casters; the New Bedford end table, also with storage drawer and beveled glass top; the New Bedford drop-leaf sofa table with casters and a beveled glass top that allows it to be transformed into an informal dining or game table, or server in the dining room; a New Bedford rectangle glass-top cocktail table with storage shelf and casters; the Chesapeake round accent table with storage drawer; a sofa table with a wood top, two drawers and shelves; the Chesapeake "Rise to the Occasion" cocktail table, which features a wood top that raises for use as a dining table or work surface; and a library case wall unit with sliding glass doors that can be used for books or as a collector's showcase, game room storage or bathroom linen closet.

• Barolo has five occasional pieces. Made from pecan and birch veneers and solids, these include an espresso, two-drawer table with a signature diamonte top set under glass; a lamp table that complements the espresso table; a two-drawer console table with inlaid walnut borders and pecan veneers; a Montague octagon-shaped accent table; and an octagon-shaped wine table with four drawers.

In leather:

• The Barolo Signature Leather collection features Old World richness in Piedmonte leather or Bergamo leather. It includes the Divano sofa and loveseat, with well-proportioned tuxedo rolled arm and back, highlighted with square diamond-shaped nailheads; Montague accent chair, with elegant wood legs, faceted posts and lumbar and accent pillows; Juliet cuddle chair, a chair-and-a-half with Charles of London arms and lumbar pillow with matching ottoman; and the Barolo home office chair, on an Old World distressed wood frame.

• Also, the Santa Rosa leather collection offers reclining seating. Sofa, loveseat and recliner feature push-button, electric-powered leg rests. The sofa and loveseat offer double motion motors for individual comfort. 20 colors.

• Motorized motion now available in Santa Monica sofa/loveseat or Liverpool accent chair.

In entertainment:

• Barolo credenza features dramatic, concaved curved doors that hide ample storage space plus special entertainment features, including heat-and moisture-resistant marble top, hidden electrical outlet for coffee pots and hot trays plus rollout drawer, silver storage and tray storage. Great for dining room, family room or foyer of a Grand Palazzo.

Broyhill will have 35 slots of upholstery for Las Vegas: three frames and covers being introduced for the first time at any market, including one fabric, one collage and one leather; and 15 pieces that are new to Las Vegas. Target retail is $999 to $1,299. Buyers also will see a stronger effort to merchandise occasional and entertainment with the upholstery. Introductions this market include a curved-front sofa with semi-attached border backs, tailored T-cushion seats, pleated panel arm and dressmaker skirt, $899; a transitional track-arm design with a pleat skirt in casual styling, upholstered in rich microfiber boucle, $799; a sleek, transitional design featuring softly flared sock arms, two-over-two cushions, and full-return wood base, $799; and a two-over-two design with generously padded shaped front arms, border box backs and seat cushions, turned wood legs and two toss pillows, $699.

In occasional:

• Santa Fe is a four-piece group featuring stitched leather strap accents, honey-colored wood tops and a textured and painted metal base. Suggested retail on a cocktail table is $249.

• Wave is a five-piece group with step-level cocktail, end and sofa tables in a rich dark finish on ash veneers and a black-nickel plated frame. Suggested retail on a cocktail table is $249.

In casual dining:

• To address voids in casual traditional, larger-scaled lifestyle and mixed media, the company is introducing four groups: No. 5557 English Arts and Crafts style with a touch of Asian influence in quartered ash veneers with hammered rustic hardware, $799; No. 5513, an upscale traditional style with leather and nailhead trim, quartered primavera veneers, rustic pewter hardware; regular height, $899, counter height, $999; No. 5565 features casual modern styling in metal, wood and leather, antique bronze-metal finish combined with a rich chocolate leather, $799; and No. 5550, transitional fresh clean lines, $799.

In entertainment:
