Andes opens facility in High Point

HIGH POINT — Solid-wood case goods manufacturer Andes International said it has opened a 6,000-square-foot distribution center here in a multi-tenant building.

The Los Angeles-based company makes bedroom, home office, dining room and living room furniture at its factory in Chile.

The company also has warehousing in Los Angeles.

In High Point, Andes International will stock 60% to 70% of its bestselling items, said Fernando Urquiza, president.

“The East Coast is our strongest market. We feel the High Point Market continue to be stronger and we want to be able to provide our customers with personalized service,” Urquiza said.
