Four Hands names Briggs new CEO

By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, November 2, 2009

Case good and upholstered furniture importer and manufacturer Four Hands has given its president, Matthew Briggs, the added title of CEO.

Briggs succeeds company founder Brett Hatton, who remains chairman of the board.

Briggs joined Four Hands as director of operations in 2001 and was named chief operating officer in 2003, vice president in 2005 and president in 2007.

“It has been a joy ride to grow the company together,” Hatton said in a press release, “and I have no doubt (Briggs) will continue driving Four Hands in the right direction.”
