Thursday, 24 October 2013 - Furniture/Today's Ray Allegrezza talks to designer Alexa Hampton, owner and president of design firm Mark Hampton, at the Pinnacle Awards during the High Point Market. They discuss the correlation between great design and great furniture sales, plus new developments in color and whole home sourcing.

Wednesday, 23 October 2013 - Furniture/Today's Clint Engel talks to Jason Harris, executive vice president of Jamestown, N.C.'s Furnitureland South and founder of, which serves up home design and fashion videos to inspire, instruct and entertain. TDN currently has nine series in production. Several of the network's stars were in town for the High Point Market to film a series based on their visits and discoveries at market showrooms.

Tuesday, 22 October 2013 - Furniture/Today's Clint Engel talks with interior designer and lifestyle expert Tracy Hutson at the High Point Market about her new video series "Tracy Hutson's Momtourage" on the newly-launched The Design Network. Hutson, best known as part of the design team on the former "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," will work with a different "do-it-all, multi-tasking" mom in each episode, to help with home design and decoration projects.

Tuesday, 22 October 2013 - At the High Point Market, Furniture/Today's Ray Allegrezza speaks with Sauder Woodworking's Michael Lambright, Director of Marketing, and Shawn Sower, Principal Designer, about the company's new Soft Modern Collection, which is targeted directly to Millennials. Additions this market are in bedroom, home office, home entertainment and occasional. It's one of this market's largest product introductions, and likely is the largest initiative aimed specifically at younger consumers.

Sunday, 20 October 2013 - Furniture/Today's Ray Allegrezza interviews Richard Magnussen about his company's new upholstery line that debuts this week at the High Point Market in the company's new, larger showroom. Magnussen also discusses the company's continuing drive to be a "Whole Home Source" for consumers.

The case goods and upholstery line represents North Carolina in two distinct lifestyle collections, one with a coastal flair and one with a mountain lodge theme.
