Bedding product introductions at the High Point Market

Look for three key trends in bedding product introductions at the upcoming High Point Market.
* GEL IS COOL: The gel movement charges ahead, with gel memory foam models being introduced across the market.
* ENCASED COIL ENERGY: Encased coils continue to gain ground, in regular and micro-coil presentations.

Entering the High Point Market with a showing in the Jacob Edwards showroom.
Regenerest Collection features the Elegance at $1,449 and the Ultra at $1,149. This is a gel and memory foam line with Active-Flo foam to enhance air flow.
Comfort Contour is a fabric-encased line. Beds retailing from $799 to $1,199 will be shown. All are foam encased. Some of the beds have gel layers.
Posture Form offers coil technology with foam encasement. Hybrid models are featured in this line, with gel upholstery offered on some models. All models have a lumbar support layer. Retails on the four beds shown range from $599 to $899.
CAROLINA MATTRESS GUILD
Introducing its Natural Living Flourish line, a soy foam-encased 660-count encased coil bed, covered in bamboo knit ticking with natural foams inside. The line is available in a firm model at $499, a plush model at $599, and a pillow top at $699 that includes gel.
Also premiering the new look of its Cool Coil Harmony model, a hybrid bed with natural latex, gel and an encased coil system. The bed features an all-chenille panel with a flat knit top and is available in toast and charcoal.
Dormia Memory Foam Collection features enhanced styling with an upgraded cover design, new profiles and refreshed point-of-purchase materials. The eight-inch Bella features an all-around swirl knit pattern with a touch of caramel tan woven in the tick. The 10-inch Luna and the 12-inch Sonno also have the caramel tan knit cover with a matching caramel tan suede wave design on the bottom. New to the collection is the 13-inch Aurora pillow top. This top of- the-line mattress features layers of ventilated gel and memory foam, latex foam and charcoal foam. Also introducing a Cool Gel memory foam topper to its accessory collection.
The Classic Brands E-Commerce Collection adds three new gel foam mattresses to complete its assortment. The eight beds, with profiles ranging from eight inches to 12 inches, come with no branding and are designed for retailers to use as their own brands or to offer as non-branded products.
Entering High Point Market with its Cellupedic Sleep Solution, a line of beds featuring specially engineered air cells in a patented Zone Cell design. Retails start at $3,490.
EMERALD SLEEP SYSTEMS
Introducing Cool Jewel sleep collection, a line of gel mattresses, toppers and pillows. The mattresses combine cooling gel and cooling memory foam and a mesh design to deliver a balanced sleep experience, the company says.
The top layer of the mattresses features high-density memory foam infused with gel. The line offers perforated memory foam ventilated to help diffuse heat and allow air to circulate through the foam. The open cell memory foam also allows air to flow freely throughout the beds, according to the company.
The premium model in the line features the use of green tea to replace a petroleum-based foam ingredient. This creates a refreshing natural aroma. The model also features a bamboo charcoal filter to help absorb moisture to regulate humidity and eliminate odors, the company says.
ENSO SLEEP SYSTEMS

Polaris 10-inch mattress and Nova 11.5-inch mattress are available in both firm and plush versions. Also introducing its new Enso Solutions Studio, a turnkey merchandising and display program that highlights the company's specialty sleep line.
FIVE STAR MATTRESS
Aiming to raise the bar on promotional bedding with introduction of its new Pro-Comfort collection, as well as more aggressive pricing on all of its products. The new Pro-Comfort line includes 12 innerspring models, with select models featuring a 532 continuous coil innerspring, an industry best seller. The top two innerspring models feature Five Star's Gel Active memory foam. The Pro-Comfort Collection will combine aggressive price points - from $199 to $799 - with an upscale look, the company says.
Also showing its True Luxury and Gel Active Collections at lower prices. The True Luxury Collection now features advanced individually wrapped coils and gel memory foam in most of its models, with prices ranging from $499 to $999. The Gel Active Collection will be offered from $699 to $1,099 and now includes a new promotional adjustable foundation, the company says.
FXI's BIOS (Greek for "life") Sleep System of health oriented toppers, pillows and mattresses debuts. The color-coded collection is designed to alleviate common aches and pains. The green Relief line offers enhanced pressure relief, the pink Performance line promotes movement and a more restful sleep, and the purple Support line provides tailored solutions that address specific areas of the body.
BIOS uses eco-friendly, hypoallergenic memory foam that has been scientifically pressure-mapped and tested for comfort and support. Toppers in the series retail for $399 in queen, while estimated retail prices for mattresses are $799 in queen. All the pillows in the series are priced at $89.
Featuring its line of 18 futons with covers that include recycled leather and microsuede. The recycled leather option increases retail prices by $100. Seven microfiber color choices are offered in the futon line.
The new Classic Collection is aimed at meeting dealer demand for a broader selection of quality beds at more affordable prices, the producer says. The beds feature 416 13-gauge coils with steel edge support and white damask fabrics. The hybrid beds retail from $399 to $549. Each of the mattresses can be purchased with an edge-to-edge steel boxspring to round out the sleep system.
Launching nine-model English Garden Collection that features a new Palladian Smart Coil technology and custom fabrics inspired by the botanicals, blue green palettes and design symmetries found in classic English gardens.
The new line, which uses three versions of a new fabric-encased coil core, carries the brand positioning, The Symmetry of Sleep. It features one-of-a-kind, botanic-patterned fabrics infused with an aloe vera emollient for softness and wellness.
The line is expected to retail from $499 to $999 in firm, plush and Eurotop styles.
English Garden models all incorporate Jamison's new Palladian Smart Coil unit, which consists of wrapped coils that are connected at the sides but move freely at their tops and bottoms, delivering superior body conformance. The top Eurotop model features a five-zone Palladian unit. The majority of the beds are foam encased, the company said.
Comfort components include varying densities and combinations of foams, fiber and cotton-poly layers which promote the line's conforming, supportive qualities, officials said.
English Garden sleep sets also use a new TruBalance foundation that will be paired with all Jamison mattresses beginning this year. Designed for strength and durability, the foundation is made from premium Canadian woods and is covered in white or cream quilted fabrics that complement every Jamison product.
Introducing the iGravity bed. It combines gel memory foam with the iGravity Coil Chamber. The result is "gravity-defying sleep," the company says.
SnoreBeGone is a sleep positioning system that helps the body overcome factors that can increase the likelihood of snoring. The system is made of three layers of foam. The top layer of memory foam must remain as the top layer. The next layer of foam can be removed to lower the headrest height. The bottom layer is a heavy duty foam for the base and must remain in place.
The Protect-A-Bed Signature Series is a new waterproof, fitted sheet-style mattress protector designed to provide a natural and pure sleep surface. The natural fiber is organic and chemical free. The protector also contains thermo-regulating properties. It also offers protection against bacteria growth and a barrier against dust mites and allergens.
Company enters the adjustable bed base arena with the introduction of the Pure LatexBliss World's Best Adjustable foundation, which it says is the first in the industry to feature latex. The base has a four inch layer of Talalay latex.
The base is available in three sizes, including twin XL, queen and split Cal king. It incorporates a wall saver design and has massage settings, one-touch positioning and customizable legs.
To help celebrate Restonic's 75th diamond anniversary, the company is introducing an updated and enhanced flagship ComfortCare collection and allnew ComfortCare Signature collection.
The ComfortCare line features Restonic's Marvelous Middle - with Dream Beam support in the center third of the mattress, as well as new quilting gel foam, memory foam and TempaGel memory foam in select models. Queen retail prices start at $599 and range to $999.
The ComfortCare Signature line starts at $1,299. It features Restonic's Marvelous Middle individually wrapped coil, Restonic TempaGel memory foam, gelinfused latex, gel-infused quilting foam and the allnew AirFlow Border. The Signature Collection also incorporates phase change materials - Outlast technology - in the panel fabric.
Adding a new model retailing at $2,999 to the HealthRest TempaGel collection. The new bed offers gel-infused latex along with Restonic TempaGel memory foam and Outlast technology.

Stearns & Foster aims to redefine luxury bedding with the introduction of ClimaSense gel memory foam to its Estate Innerspring Collection. Developed exclusively for Stearns & Foster, ClimaSense delivers all the benefits of gel memory foam, along with the quality and craftsmanship consumers have come to expect from the Stearns & Foster brand, officials said.
Sealy will also officially launch its new national consumer advertising campaign to support its 2013 Sealy Posturepedic line on April 15. The campaign, anchored by two new television spots, represents the largest investment in the brand in more than five years. The first spot strikes an emotional chord with consumers by emphasizing the important life moments that begin and end in bed, while the second will demonstrate Sealy's leadership in the emerging hybrid category by featuring the benefits of the allnew Sealy Posturepedic Hybrid Series, a true half foam/half springs design, the company said.
Company has redesigned its Perfect Sleeper line with new and improved features and a contemporary look. Also launching a new Perfect Sleeper program that includes pillows and an adjustable foundation.
In addition, new high-end iComfort models will be introduced, featuring new mattress systems and accessories.
Hamilton Court 301
Reintroducing its Pure Comfort Collection as a two-sided latex mattress collection, designed to help retailers eliminate problems with body impressions, the company says. The beds in the new collection will feature from 7.5 inches to 10 inches of natural Talalay latex foam.
The producer is also hosting a fundraising event for the Seven Homes Foster Care & Adoption Agency, which serves displaced children.
Launching two new Beautyrest collections, Recharge and Recharge World Class. They replace the former Classic and Elite lines. Both collections combine Beautyrest Pocketed Coil springs with Aircool and gel foams.
The 15 Recharge models are priced from $699 to $1,299 and feature 800 Pocketed Coil springs, Aircool and GelTouch foams. They have a 20-year warranty.
The 14 Beautyrest Recharge World Class models feature 1,000 Pocketed Coil springs and TruTemp Gel added to models starting at $1,399. TruTemp Gel absorbs, stores and releases excessive heat to keep the sleeper in a comfortable temperature zone, the company says. Eight high-end models priced from $1,799 to $1,999 feature 2,000 Pocketed Coil springs, Pocketed MicroCoils, and AirCool memory foam with MicroGelTouch foam.
Retails for the Beautyrest Recharge World Class line range from $1,399 to $1,999. Those models have a 25-year warranty.
Also introducing four new ComforPedic from Beautyrest models, retailing from $2,999 to $4,499, with a 25-year warranty. The beds feature Aircool memory foam, TruTemp Gel and a proprietary Multi-Action Support Layer.
Introducing the Comfort4U series of adjustable, personalized comfort mattresses. The three-bed series features Comfort 4U Memory Foam, Comfort 4U Gel and Comfort 4U Latex. These beds conform to the sleeper at his or her command, the company says.
Four new Kathy Ireland Home by Therapedic models make their debut. The beds feature a five-zone support innerspring system with seven-inch coils for added support and comfort, and a design that offers gray, blue and white stretch knit ticking. Retails range from $799 to $1,399.
Aesthetics on high-end Agility line, a hybrid offering, have been enhanced with tailoring enhancements. The top model in the line has a new design, with smaller coils used in the foam base.
The Agility Collection is made with thousands of micro-pocket springs encased in a three-way stretch fabric to give the mattress a quick response surface feel and that allows it to be highly resistant to body impressions and sagging. Preserve VG, the first biobased visco-elastic gel foam on the market, is swirled into the foam compound, to add comfort and cooling performance to the line. The four models in the national line are the Dash, the Tango, the Freestyle and the Crossover. Retails range from $1,299 to $2,999.
Specialty mattress producer is showing its full Zedbed product line, which includes mattresses, lifestyle adjustable beds, headboards, pillows and protectors. Also showing its new GELPLUS technology, three types of gel-infused memory foam, and a refreshed brand identity.
