Exec group goes gender neutral

NEW YORK -- The Executive Women in Home Textiles organization is changing its name to Executives Working in Home Textiles.
“Over time, the organization has enjoyed the interaction between men and women discussing the industry under the changing global enterprise," said Gloria Lang, spokesperson for the group’s Steering Committee. "It is time that the organization reflects our joint concerns and remains true to its mission statement."The mission statement remains the same: providing an informal forum within which to interact with industry members for both career and personal success. The organization holds monthly networking events and hosts a Power Breakfast during the semi-annual New York Home Textiles Market."We look forward to welcoming many new colleagues," said Lang.Dues are $75 per year and members may attend all events at no cost.
