England installs galleries in Washington state, S.C. stores

By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, September 10, 2006

Custom upholstered furniture maker England has installed Custom Comfort Center galleries in stores in Washington state and South Carolina.

Phyl's Furniture has a 4,700-square-foot gallery in its 30,000-square-foot Chehalis, Wash., store, the retailer's second Custom Comfort Center. The first is in its other unit in Aberdeen, Wash. In business for over 33 years and an England dealer since 1988, Phyl's Furniture is owned by Milo and Eileen Bloss. Tracy Stevens is the Chehalis store manager.

In West Columbia, S.C., Daniels Fine Furniture has installed a 4,500-square-foot England Custom Comfort Center in its 11,000-square-foot store. The gallery features England's fabric and leather upholstery and occasional tables.

Store owners Daniel and June Clark recently celebrated their fifth anniversary at the current location.

England is a La-Z-Boy company.
