Media Center outlines press kit procedures for October market

High Point — The High Point market's official Media Center is seeking press kit submission from exhibitors for distribution during the Oct. 16–22 event.
The Media Center, at 220 E. Commerce Avenue, inside the High Point Theater entrance, is operated by the American Home Furnishings Alliance and provides journalists with information on new products.
The Media Center will begin accepting press kit shipments on Monday, Oct. 9. Kits should be shipped to:

The following information should be enclosed with each shipment:

Company name.

Number of press kits in the shipment.

A company contact person and telephone number during market.

Instructions for handling any leftover press kits after market, including a shipping address and Federal Express account number if you want leftover kits returned.
Press kits received by 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14 will be displayed in the Media Center in alphabetical order by company name.
Late kits may be delivered after noon Sunday, Oct. 15, and will be displayed on "Late Arrivals" shelves.
Those planning to deliver press kits to the Media Center in person should do so between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. October 9-14.
The Media Center will open to journalists at noon Sunday, Oct. 15.
A quantity of 50 to 75 kits is recommended for smaller companies, and a minimum of 100 to 125 is recommended for larger manufacturers, or any company planning a major product introduction.
