Windham, Pfaltzgraff ink deal
Cecile Corral -- Furniture Today, March 29, 2004
Multiple product category supplier Windham Weavers recently inked a licensing deal with tabletop company Pfaltzgraff to produce collections of coordinated kitchen textiles, table linens, window treatments, decorative pillows and scatter rugs.
On its textiles, Windham Weavers will interpret Pfaltzgraff's dinnerware patterns.
"We'll be using some everyday looks as well as some seasonal-specific looks," said Howie Mallow, executive vice president, Windham Weavers.
The initial offerings, comprising about 12 patterns, will be ready for delivery during the third quarter.
All of the goods are being imported from overseas.
Fabrications for table linens, kitchen textiles, window treatments and decorative pillows include wovens, jacquards and prints. Constructions for scatter rugs include cotton and poly-cotton blends.
