New York — Target has set anchor in the Hudson River here, docking its Holiday Day Boat at Chelsea Piers for customers until Dec. 1.
Ninety-two items for gift-giving and decorating are displayed inside, ranging in price from a snowman glass ornament ($2.99) to a Sony camcorder ($299.99). Other products include a mini-fridge ($59.99), an Armor-All car care kit ($20), a Michael Graves Design waffle maker ($29.99), a Samsung dual deck DVD/VCR ($199.99), a Mossimo distressed leather blazer ($99.99) and a snowman down throw ($19.99), the lone home textiles object in the assortment. Customers looking to purchase an item take post-it notes bearing the product's name and image from the display area next to the item and purchase the product as they exit the boat.
Target will also ship these 92 items for free, from whether ordered on the boat or online, until Dec. 15.
