Weinberg joins American Leather as COO, CFO

Dallas — Bruce Weinberg has joined custom upholstery specialist American Leather as chief financial officer and chief operations officer, a new position.
Weinberg was with NCH Corp., a manufacturer of industrial maintenance products and services, as vice president and chief information officer for the past five years. He began his career in public accounting and later founded and was CEO of BSSi, a firm specializing in accounting systems and integration.
At American Leather, he is responsible for finance and operations, including manufacturing, customer service, MIS, supply chain and human resources.
Weinberg reports to President Bruce Birnbach.
"With Weinberg's results-driven experience and team-focused management approach, he will bring a broad strategic emphasis to the management structure. In addition, his outstanding leadership, talent recruitment, financial and technical skills make him an invaluable asset to our management team," said Birnbach.
American Leather founder and CEO Bob Duncan praised Weinberg's "strong background in finance, information systems and operations management."
American Leather co-founder Sanjay Chandra had been chief financial officer until earlier this year. He remains on the company's board of directors.
