Furniture sales rep Kenneth Quiggins Sr. dies at 72

ST. LOUIS — Kenneth Quiggins Sr., a veteran independent furniture sales representative who worked for Boyd Specialty Sleep for more than 20 years, died Nov. 4 at his home in Jeffersonville, Ind. He was 72.
"Ken was with us going back to the waterbed days and he was always a gentleman with a great set of ethics," said Denny Boyd, president of Boyd Specialty Sleep. "He was a true relationship salesman who connected easily with anyone. His customers were his friends and they treated him like family. He was a great friend to many of us and will be missed. Our sales meetings will not be the same without Ken."
Quiggins is survived by his wife, three daughters, a son, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and his brother.
The family has asked that any donations be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals at www.aspca.org, or to the Special Olympics at www.specialolympics.org.
