LAS VEGAS — Case goods resource Vaughan Furniture will show for the first time at the Las Vegas Market in January.
The company has signed a lease for a 2,600-square-foot permanent showroom in space A-1019 of the World Market Center.
The company, which is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year, said this is part of an effort to expand distribution on the West Coast.
"We have been steadily working to build our presence in the West and having a showroom at the Las Vegas Market is a key element in that strategy," said David Vaughan, president. "This new showroom will help us reach a new group of retailers in the western U.S. and Canada who rely on the Las Vegas Market as their primary source for fresh product."
The company said it plans to target a mix of Top 100 and mid-sized and smaller independent furniture stores.
Officials added that the company is well positioned to service those retailers with a new warehouse in Ontario, Calif., as well as distribution centers in Virginia and Vietnam.
"We've been in the business of knowing what works at retail for 90 years," Vaughan added. "Our long history in this industry gives us the knowledge needed to consistently bring salable, value-oriented designs to the marketplace. Our distribution model of overseas and domestic warehouses is a platform that has proven successful in supplying some of the biggest names in the business with a great value and dependable service."
At the Jan. 26-30 market, Vaughan will showcase its latest High Point introductions as well as some of its bestsellers.
