Ashley HomeStore opens in Melbourne, Fla.

The 50,000-square-foot showroom features an expanded assortment of home accents and furnishings, covering a variety of lifestyle categories such as Vintage Casual by Ashley, Metro Modern by Ashley, and Ashley Kids.
Ashley HomeStore also unveiled Zzz's by Ashley, its "store-within-a-store" mattress shopping concept. Using tablet technology, sales associates match consumers with mattresses for their body type and sleep style. The store offers a range of options in various price points from brands including Ashley Sleep, Serta and Tempur-Pedic and sheet protection sets from Protect- A-Bed.
Opening day festivities included a ribbon cutting, gift card giveaways and refreshments. A drawing also was held for a $5,000 HomeStore shopping spree.
In anticipation of the store opening, Ashley Furniture HomeStores' A Hope to Dream program donated and distributed 40 beds to children in the Melbourne community who did not have a bed to sleep in.
