Molotov cocktail thrown at Art Van Furniture president's home

WARREN, Mich. — Art Van Furniture President Gary Van Elslander and his family were unhurt after a Molotov cocktail struck their home in the Detroit areas Grosse Point Park, according to a report by the Detroit Free Press.
Van Elslander and his family were home when the incident occurred, and police have someone in custody, Diane Charles, a spokeswoman for the Top 100 company, told the paper.

"The bottom line is he's fine, everything's fine; it's a freak thing that happened," Charles said in the report.
