MARKHAM, Ontario — Caber Distributors, the Canadian distributor of Protect-a-Bed and other sleep accessories, has named Marc de Grave vice president, a new post.

"As we continue to increase our product lines and business channels," Caber President Bernard Weinstein said, "we need a senior management executive on board to oversee our customer relations, direct our national sales representatives and develop new initiatives. Marc's expertise, leadership skills and enthusiasm are a perfect fit for the Caber family."

De Grave has more than 25 years of sales and marketing experience in senior management, including serving as vice president of sales and marketing for Coats, a global thread manufacturer whose clients include furniture and mattress manufacturers.

He also has served as executive vice president of Bow Plastics, a producer of plastic pipe and fittings; vice president and general manager of Prisma Plastics International, a distributor of engineered plastics; and president of Infinity International, a Canadian sales and marketing firm representing European, American and Canadian manufacturers to local markets.

"I am delighted and honored to have been selected as Caber's vice president," de Grave said. "I very much appreciate the encouragement and support that I have already received from the great Caber team."
