Hep Direct hires Earl Shrawder, Carol Hathaway

Will serve home delivery service as VP of sales, chief financial officer

Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, November 6, 2009

ARCHDALE, N.C. — Hep Direct, a home delivery service with numerous furniture industry clients, has hired a pair of senior executives to oversee sales and finance.

The company said Earl Shrawder has been named vice president of sales for the United States, while Carol Hathaway has been named chief financial officer.

Shrawder has more than 25 years experience in logistics management, including stints involving medical equipment distribution and high-end retail distribution.

Hathaway has held managerial posts in accounting, audit, finance and administration in her career. Most recently, she was chief financial officer of Tolt Services Group, and earlier worked for the accounting and consulting firm Ernst & Young.

Both Shrawder and Hathaway report to Keith Hewitt, CEO.
