Angus is Carter marketing VP

High Point -- Furniture Today, November 5, 2006

— Carol Angus has been named vice president of sales and marketing for upscale contemporary upholstery specialist Carter Furniture.

She replaces Bruce Hirschhaut, who has left the company to pursue other options.

Previously, Angus owned contemporary stores in Michigan, was a sales representative for various contemporary manufacturers in Southern California, and was vice president of sales for Preview Upholstery. Most recently, she was president of Studio 99, an occasional, dining and framed art resource.

"We are most excited to have Carol as part of the team. She brings with her a wealth of experience in retail, wholesale and manufacturing," said Carter President Bill Ward.
