New York-- Safavieh has created five new collections for debut at the International Area Rug market inAtlantain mid January.
The five new collections are:
Gandhara, a reinterpretation of classicPeshawardesigns hand-tufted of 100% hand-spun wool;
Safari Tibetans, designed in line with current furniture trends and constructed of Tibetan wool and colored with vegetable dyes;
Jewel ofIndia, a cashmere and silk group featuring new pale-toned designs patterned after a mid-19th century Persian Farahan Sarouk;
New Asian Tibetans, a Tibet-made wool collection of updated Asian-inspired themes like cherry blossoms and bamboo grass;
Oushak Star, a collection of 100 percent wool authentic Oushak-knotted rugs.
