Fabric supplier Weave Corp. closes

HACKENSACK, N.J. — Weave Corp., a well-known fabric suppler to the upholstered furniture industry, has closed.
It is unknown if the closing is permanent or temporary. A recorded message at the company's headquarters here said this morning, "We are sorry to tell you that the Weave Corp. has ceased operations. We regret any inconvenience you may experience as the result of this closure."
Weave Corp. is a domestic producer of upper-end fabrics. The company's president and CEO, Roger Berkley, has been involved in a number of industry issues and has been chairman of the National Textiles Assn.
