Natuzzi promotes Vitttorio Notarpietro to chief financial officer

SANTERAMO IN COLLE, Italy — Leather upholstery major Natuzzi has promoted Vittorio Notarpietro to chief financial officer.He had been the company's deputy chief financial officer since September.
In his new post, he is replacing Mariano Domingo Balta, Natuzzi's CFO since November 2008. The company said it had "terminated its collaboration relationship" with Balta.
Before he rejoined Natuzzi in September, Notarpietro was CEO of Malo Spa, an Italian apparel company, for three years. Earlier, he was vice president of finance at IT Holding, an Italian apparel company, from 2000 to 2005.
He was Natuzzi's director of finance and investor relations from 1991 to 1998.
