‘Selling into China' session added to Furniture/Today Leadership Conference

Chinese trade show official to talk about market's potential

Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, November 12, 2009

HIGH POINT — Furniture/Today's 13th Annual Leadership Conference, set for Dec. 2 to 4 at Ritz Carlton Golf Resort in Naples, Fla., has added a bonus presentation on "Selling into China."

Presented by Charley Wang, director of international relations for the Dongguan Famous Furniture Assn., the session will offer direction to anyone interested in selling into the China market or opening retail stores in that country. It will be held from 4 to 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 3.

"Those planning to attend will hear about the size and potential of the market for furniture in China, the laws that impact foreign investors and the steps needed in order to sell into China," said Wang.

The session also will present a number of tips about "choosing the right products for the market in China," Wang added.
