La-Z-Boy extends brand into portable spas

Partners with Hydropool to launch line

TORONTO — La-Z-Boy Inc. and Canada-based Hydropool have partnered to launch a new line of luxury portable residential spas under the La-Z-Boy brand.

The line, which Hydropool will design, manufacture, sell and market, initially will include eight models, four in the Signature Collection and four in the Premier Collection.

La-Z-Boy spas will be available through retail outlets in the United States early next year and in Canada in early 2011. Hydropool also plans to distribute La-Z-Boy spas in Australia and New Zealand by early 2012.
