Art Van Furniture promotes five key executives

WARREN, Mich. — Top 100 store chain Art Van Furniture has promoted several key executives, CEO Kim Yost and President Gary Van Elslander have announced.
“Our leadership team is among the strongest in the retail world, resulting in our recognition as the 2009 Furniture Retailer of the Year (by Furniture/Today),” said Yost. “These promotions help to better align our team for continued growth and success in the coming years.”
Promotions include:

Cathy DiSante, to vice president – advertising from director of advertising.

Amelia Ellenstein to vice president – visual merchandising and store design from director of visual merchandising.

Mike Zambricki to vice president – general counsel from chief human resources and legal officer.

Gary Duncan to vice president – human resources from director of human resources.

David Van Elslander to senior director of merchandising from director of store merchandising.
