Home Furniture adds two stores to retail group

ST. JACOBS, Ontario — Home Furniture has added stores in Shelburne, Nova Scotia, and The Pas, Manitoba, bringing the retail group's store count to 72.
Woodworkers Home Furniture in Shelburne is owned and operated by Bruce Atkinson, who has owned the city's Woodworkers Home Building Centre for 21 years. The new store carries furniture, flooring, appliances, custom-built kitchen cabinetry, bedding and accessories.
Bruce Hammer is Home Furniture's operations manager.
In Manitoba, The Pas Home Furniture is owned by Bill Veitch. Veitch also is a Home Hardware Building Centre dealer, operating that store with his daughter, Anne. The new furniture store will be managed by his son, Sean, who joined the family owned company three years ago.
