Flexsteel opens 7 galleries

DUBUQUE, Iowa — Flexsteel has opened three Signature Galleries in Northern California and four Signature Galleries in Florida.
Connolly's Furniture in Fremont, Calif., has installed a 3,500-square-foot Flexsteel gallery within its 40,000-square-foot store. Steve Connolly is owner of the fourth-generation store, which was established in 1945. The store has been a Flexsteel retailer for two years.
Russell's Furniture in Santa Clara, Calif., also has installed a 3,500-square-foot gallery in its 75,000-square-foot store. Russell's Furniture, in business since 1892 and in its present location since 1965, has been a Flexsteel dealer for two years. Richard Rusnak is the store owner and Bob Bauer is the store manager.
Pedersen's Furniture Co. in Santa Rosa, Calif., has placed a 3,500-square-foot gallery within its 28,000-square-foot store. Paul and Ken Pedersen are co-owners of this fourth-generation business, established in 1892. The store has been at its present location since 1953 and has been a Flexsteel retailer for more than two years.
Sandy's Furniture in Stuart, Fla., has installed a 3,500-square-foot gallery within its 13,500-square-foot store. Rob Mooney is the manager of this new store, which opened September. Sandy's other location in Vero Beach, Fla., has been in business for more than 30 years.
Bacon's Furniture Galleries in Port Charlotte, Fla., has placed a 3,500-square-foot Flexsteel Signature Gallery in its 115,000-square-foot store. Lee Bacon is the general manager of the store. Bacon's has been in business for more than 30 years — 10 in this location — and has been a Flexsteel retailer for two years.
Bacon's Furniture & Design in Sarasota, Fla., has installed a 3,500-square-foot gallery within its15,000-square-foot store. Jeff Bacon is the general manager of this location, which has been in business since 1992. The store has been a Flexsteel dealer for three months
Steven's Bassett Furniture in Melbourne, Fla., has put a 3,500-square-foot gallery within its 22,000-square-foot store. Richard and Susan Stevens are the store owners and Matt Garrison is the store manager. Steven's Furniture opened in 1983 and has been in its current location since 1996. The store has been a Flexsteel dealer for four years.
