Dalton, Ga. — Radhe Rathi, president and CEO of rug manufacturer and importer Kaleen, has been promoted to president and CEO of Rathi Family Holdings, the Indian-based parent company.
In related moves, Monty Rathi has been promoted to chief operating officer of Kaleen's Indian and American groups. He had been director of U.S. operations.
Joe Barkley, formerly vice president of sales and marketing, has been named executive vice president of Kaleen Americas and is responsible for sales, personnel and product for each of the Kaleen divisions.
Rathi Family Holdings includes The Manmohan Group, Mauldur Fabrics, Kaleen Worldwide and Rathi Holdings. Radhe Rathi succeeds Shivkishan Rathi, who remains chairman.
In the U.S., Radhe Rathi has guided Kaleen through a period of growth and profitability since 1996, according to the company.
"Radhe's commitment to quality and customer service provided the foundation for the phenomenal expansion of Kaleen and its parent, The Manmohan Group, and we are excited about the future of our companies under Radhe's direction," said Shivkishan Rathi.
Radhe Rathi said Monte Rathi and Joe Barkley have "directed the incredible growth Kaleen has experienced over the past three years. With Monty's insight between our India manufacturing groups and the needs of the American market, along with Joe's history of success and vision in the industry, we are extremely pleased with our new management structure."
Barkley said the company has begun a search for a vice president of sales for the Kaleen Rug Division.
