Arthur joins Drexel Heritage in VP role

HIGH POINT - High end case goods and upholstery resource Drexel Heritage has named Jeff Arthur vice president of residential sales.
He replaces Chip Stewart, who is currently a vice president of sales at Ashley Furniture based in the Atlanta area.
Arthur is now vice president of sales for sister companies Henredon, Maitland-Smith and LaBarge and will continue in that role, according to parent company Furniture Brands International.
He reports to Dan Bradley, who is president of Furniture Brands' Designer Brand Group. This group includes Drexel Heritage, Hickory Chair, Henredon, Lane Venture, Pearson, Maitland- Smith and LaBarge.
Arthur joined Henredon in 1984, and in 2009 he was named vice president of sales and marketing. In 2010, he also became vice president of sales and marketing for sister brands Maitland-Smith and LaBarge.
From 1982 to 1984 he worked for Lane Furniture.
In a statement, the company said, "Jeff brings an understanding of the higher end consumer and retailer along with an appreciation of the importance of relationships in our industry to his new work with the Drexel Heritage brand."
