Plainview, N.Y. — Industry veteran Mark Cooper has joined Julius M. Feinblum Real Estate as director of vertical store programs, working on the West Coast and overseeing the company's marketing efforts in Arizona.
With more than 30 years of industry experience, Cooper has been West Coast regional manager for Bassett Furniture for the past two years. Before that, he was vice president of new store development for Thomasville Furniture for six years, and director of new store development at Ethan Allen for 12 years.
Company President Julius Feinblum said he has worked with Cooper over the years and called him an innovator who understands why locations work from a retail point of view.
Cooper will handle manufacturer dedicated store programs, market to independent and big-box furniture accounts, and oversee Feinblum's marketing for the 800,000-square-foot Gilbert Esplanade Home Furnishing Center under development in the Phoenix suburb of Gilbert, Ariz.
