Martin, Kathy Ireland extend partnership to 2018

Gil Martin and Kathy Ireland have announced they are extending the partnership for the Kathy Ireland Home by Martin furniture line, which includes home office and home entertainment furniture, the company’s core categories.
SAN DIEGO, Calif. — Martin Home Furnishings and Kathy Ireland Worldwide announced they have agreed to extend their licensing partnership to 2018.
The Kathy Ireland Home by Martin line includes home entertainment and home office furniture, the company's core product categories. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the line, which was first launched in April 2003.
Officials with both organizations said they have been pleased with the partnership over the past decade. To this day, Ireland, the CEO and chief designer of Kathy Ireland Worldwide, remains heavily involved in product development, with a core mission of "finding solutions for families, especially busy moms."
"We are continuing to change the landscape of excellence in the home office and entertainment furniture category," Ireland said in a statement. "Everyone at Kathy Ireland Worldwide is delighted and pleased by our third consecutive renewal of partnership with Martin Furniture."
"Gil Martin is incredible and his extraordinary team exemplifies true leadership and loyalty with our company and with our customers," she added. "We are extremely proud of our mutual teams for collaborating and bringing outstanding products to the furniture industry that customers continue to love and appreciate every year. We are honored and grateful that our agreement with this company will continue through 2018 and hopefully beyond."
Gil Marin, CEO of Kathy Ireland home by Martin, also was pleased the partnership will continue.

We have been working with Kathy and her team for ten years and I am very happy and proud to announce that we're extending our relationship for another five years."
