World Imports hires Matt Grodin as director of merchandising

PHILADELPHIA — Matt Grodin has been named director of merchandising for World Imports, a full-line home furnishings importer serving U.S. and international markets.
In the newly created position, Grodin will work with World Imports President Marc Luber to maintain the momentum of introductions that officials said have driven the company's success.
"We are all very excited to have Matt on the team and continuing to develop the World Imports product line," Luber said. "He will also be critical to the success of our new Home Expressions line."
Prior to joining World Imports, Grodin was vice president of merchandising for Surplus Furniture in Canada and the United States. He has 26 years of experience in wholesale distribution and importing in the home furnishings industry, including product development, sourcing and merchandising across all categories.
