Atlanta — Kane Carpet will open a 1,550-square-foot AmericasMart showroom, space 6C3, for the Atlanta International Area Rug Market, Jan. 18-21.
"We exhibited in Atlanta four years ago and left. It was a mistake," said President Herb Frank. "Atlanta has the key players we really want. We're eager to showcase our revolutionary designs and lines, as well as our innovative merchandising ideas."
Kane is one of the few companies that can offer matching rugs, runners and broadloom carpeting, all stocked and ready for immediate delivery, he said, adding the company plans a major showing of carpeting.
Chas Sydney, AmericasMart senior vice president of floor covering and new business development, said, "Under the visionary leadership of Herb Frank, Kane is spearheading the return of high-end broadloom carpet, in massive and diverse quantities, to the Atlanta rug market."
Kane Carpet, headquartered in Brooklyn, N.Y., has distribution facilities in Calhoun, Ga.
