Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, July 30, 2012
HIGH POINT — Case goods importer Legacy Classic Furniture has named Pat Watson vice president of merchandising.
He replaces Chris Rayle, who left the company this spring for a similar role at Samuel Lawrence Furniture.
Watson most recently was at case goods and upholstery resource A.R.T. Furniture, where he was director of product development. He has 14 years of experience in the industry and held similar roles at Broyhill and Magnussen Home.
He reports to Mike Harris, president of Legacy Classic, and will oversee product development and merchandising of master bedroom, dining room and everyday dining categories.
"Pat's strong work ethic, great product knowledge and, most importantly, his integrity are a perfect fit with the Legacy Classic team," Harris said in a statement. "His talent and experience are just what Legacy needs, and we're excited to have him on board."
