Taylor C. Vaughan named new president at Vaughan Furniture

By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, January 22, 2007

Vaughan Furniture has named Taylor C. Vaughan as president, the sixth family member to hold the job in the company's 84 years of manufacturing and importing case goods.

Bill Vaughan, who had been president, remains chairman and CEO.

David Vaughan, who was senior vice president of merchandising, moves up to fill Taylor Vaughan's position of senior executive vice president. The company hasn't filled the merchandising role yet.

Bill Hudson, who has worked in the company's traffic department since 1987, has been promoted to traffic manager to replace Jeff Reeves, who resigned to pursue other opportunities.

Taylor Vaughan is named after his ancestor and co-founder of the company, Taylor G. Vaughan Sr.
