Handy Living to show at Las Vegas Market

WHEELING, Ill. — Small space living specialist Handy Living will be showing at the summer Las Vegas Market, World Market Center A-614.
The Wheeling-based company, which has specialized in e-commerce sales for the past six years, is entering the brick and mortar segment of the marketplace with multi-purpose seating, sleeping and storage products.
"Over the past six years, we developed our products to appeal to the ‘Millennial' consumer who shops the Internet. We feel we've identified trends in the market, which first appear online, that translate very well to the brick and mortar world," says Tom Erdman, general manager of Handy Living.
Handy Living's Convert-a-Couch, which recently received a "Consumer's Digest" Best Buy rating, has been re-designed to allow the consumer to assemble the product with no tools using the company's Handy Lock technology. Additional small space living room products will be shown as well.
One trend Handy Living believes will continue to grow is the adjustable bed category. Instead of defining it as a medical or age-related category, Handy Living said it will introduce a power reclining bed that will serve the lifestyle TV watching and reading market, and start at $499 with pocketed coil mattress.
"We are extremely excited to show not only our products but our design and engineering capabilities to the marketplace. Our goal is to offer products that are thoughtfully designed for easy, small space living," Erdman added. "Whether you're a container customer with a proprietary design, or looking for a new offering, our goal is to offer something different and meaningful to the consumer."
Handy Living currently manufactures the angelo:HOME brand of upholstery as well as products for distributors and manufacturers throughout the United States and Canada. With nearly 40,000 items in stock, Handy Living offers same day fulfillment on most orders. Most products, including sofas, can be shipped via UPS, the company said.
